Play School Teacher

Role & responsibilities

• Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that nurtures curiosity and learning in young children.
  
• Plan and conduct engaging activities, lessons, and play-based learning experiences suitable for preschoolers.
  
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through age-appropriate teaching methods.
  
• Maintain discipline in a positive manner, encouraging good habits, manners, and values.
  
• Monitor and assess each childs progress, sharing feedback with parents regularly.
  
• Ensure classroom materials, toys, and learning aids are well-maintained, safe, and used effectively.
  
• Organize events, celebrations, and interactive sessions to promote creativity and participation.
  
• Work closely with other staff members and management to uphold the schools vision and standards.
  
• Ensure children’s safety, hygiene, and overall well-being at all times.
  
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children and parents to create a supportive learning community.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education

  : Graduate in Early Childhood Education / Montessori / NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) / B.Ed. (preferred).

• Experience

  : Prior experience in preschool or kindergarten teaching will be an added advantage.
