Job Title: UI Developer (Responsive OTT – React/Streaming) Key Responsibilities: Design and develop responsive OTT front-end applications for both mobile and web platforms using React.js and Redux for state management. Integrate AWS Amplify JS services including authentication, GraphQL APIs, real-time workflows, and storage solutions. Build and maintain interactive live streaming features leveraging IVS Realtime JS SDK for low-latency video, chat overlays, live polls, and reactions. Ensure adaptive and seamless UI rendering for Video-On-Demand (VOD) and live streaming experiences using technologies like HLS.js and ABR playback. Implement industry best practices in responsive design, accessibility standards, and performance optimization techniques to deliver an exceptional user experience. Collaborate closely with video streaming engineers to align front-end interfaces with backend streaming workflows and real-time content delivery. Monitor front-end performance using Core Web Vitals, Quality of Experience (QoE) metrics, and player responsiveness; proactively troubleshoot user-facing streaming issues. Work with design and UX teams to convert wireframes and design mockups into pixel-perfect, interactive OTT front-end interfaces. Optimize applications for cross-platform consistency and performance with a mobile-first approach, supporting desktop browsers and Progressive Web App (PWA) readiness. Skills & Experience: Strong proficiency in React.js and Redux (or other modern state management libraries). Hands-on experience with AWS Amplify JS services including Authentication, GraphQL APIs, DataStore, PubSub, and Storage. Proven experience integrating IVS Realtime JS SDK or WebRTC for interactive live streaming features such as chat, synchronized overlays, and real-time interactions. Familiarity with adaptive streaming libraries such as HLS.js , Shaka Player , or video.js for smooth adaptive bitrate (ABR) video playback. Solid understanding of responsive frontend design frameworks and methodologies including Flexbox , CSS Grid , and utility-first CSS frameworks like TailwindCSS , or CSS-in-JS solutions like Styled Components . Practical knowledge of real-time interactive features including chat, reactions, polls, and synchronized overlays. Expertise in frontend performance optimization techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, efficient caching strategies, and reducing load times. Understanding of authentication flows including OAuth , JWT , tokenized video playback, and integration of geo-blocking mechanisms. Experience with frontend analytics and monitoring tools that track video QoE metrics such as bitrate adaptation, buffering events, and user engagement. Prior experience working on OTT platforms, live event streaming, or interactive media applications is highly desirable.
