Job Description

Sr. Platform Engineer (JD) Linux OS Internals - Strong knowledge of Linux boot process, internals, and troubleshooting. Golden Image Creation Build Linux Golden images using tools such as Packer and PXE/Kickstart workflows for virtual and physical platforms. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Develop IaC templates using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or native tools for vSphere/Hyper-V for provisioning virtual infrastructure on hypervisors such as VMware and Hyper-V. Configuration Management (CM) Implementation Implement CM logic using tools such as Ansible (roles, playbooks) and AWS SSM. CI/CD for Infra & Configuration Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and configuration automation. Image Lifecycle Operations Implement OS Image Lifecycle operations such as versions and cleanup. Patch Management Implement patching tools and flows. Authentication Integration Configure Linx OS authentication via centralized IdP such as AD. Compliance & Hardening Apply pre-built CIS hardening and CM-based policy enforcement. Automation Scripting Proficient in Bash; comfortable with Python/YAML for automation. Version Control & GitOps Maintain code in version control systems such as Git. Platform-Specific Implementation Work with VMware, Hyper-V, and physical hosts in real-world automation tasks. Mentoring & Collaboration Guide Platform Engineers and ensure implementation aligns with architecture.
