Job Description

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and operate
OpenStack
environments (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone)
Prepare, configure, and harden
on-prem Linux servers
(RHEL / CentOS / Rocky)
Install, configure, and manage
OpenShift / Kubernetes clusters
(bare metal & VM-based)
Configure and troubleshoot
networking
: VLANs, bonding, bridges, routing
Configure and operate
storage
: Ceph basics, local volumes, CSI drivers
Build and maintain
automation
using Ansible and shell scripting
Implement and maintain
HA and basic DR setups
(backups, control plane HA, restore drills)
Monitor and troubleshoot issues across
compute, network, storage, and cluster layers
Manage container registries, ingress controllers, routes, and TLS certificates
Work closely with DevOps and application teams to support deployments

Required Skills

1-2 years of
hands-on Linux infrastructure experience
Practical
OpenStack deployment and configuration
experience
Hands-on
OpenShift / Kubernetes administration
Containers: Docker and/or CRI-O
Good understanding of
Linux internals
(systemd, networking, storage)
Ansible automation
experience (playbooks, roles, inventories)
Solid networking fundamentals (VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS)

Nice to Have

Experience with
Ceph
in production
Exposure to
bare-metal provisioning
(PXE / iPXE)
Monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
