Plant Supervisor

Designation : Plant Supervisor and Thermic Oil Boiler Manager

Qualification : Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

(Boiler Attendant / Boiler Manager Certification preferred)

Experience : 5–8 years of experience in Bitumen / Petroleum / Chemical / Heavy Industrial plant operations preferred.

Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience managing Solid Fuel Combustion Systems
• Strong understanding of Thermic Oil Networks & Jacketed Piping Systems
• Ability to repair mechanical pumps, valves, and rotating equipment
• Basic understanding of PLC operations and automation interfaces

Job Location : Sanand, Ahmedabad

Job Objective : To oversee end-to-end plant operations with primary responsibility for Solid Fuel Thermic Oil Heating Systems, ensuring operational reliability, safety, and efficiency of high-temperature fluid networks. The role focuses on ensuring zero downtime, preventive maintenance, and maintaining mechanical & electrical asset integrity.

Responsibilities :

Boiler & Heating System Management

• Operate and manage Solid Fuel Thermic Oil Heaters efficiently and safely.
• Monitor and maintain Thermic Oil Pipelines and Jacketed Oil Heating Pipelines used for Bitumen / Chemical processing.
• Handle installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high-temperature pumps, valves, and pipeline fittings.
• Ensure optimal heating performance, pressure balance, and thermal circulation across the plant.

Mechanical Maintenance & Repair

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on pipelines, gaskets, industrial valves, and mechanical assemblies.
• Implement a robust preventive maintenance schedule to avoid leaks, breakdowns, and pressure failures.
• Inspect system performance regularly and take corrective measures to ensure plant reliability.

Electrical & Automation Control

• Maintain and troubleshoot electric motors, starters, switches, and switchgears.
• Work with PLC-controlled systems, interpret signals, support automation processes, and coordinate with automation engineers when required.
• Respond immediately to system trips, faults, and emergency situations to restore smooth operations

Plant Supervision & Safety

• Supervise plant workforce, assign duties, and ensure production continuity.
• Monitor shift operations and support production planning execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire-prevention, and heat-handling protocols at all times.
• Enforce operational discipline and maintain housekeeping standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
