Plant Safety & Discipline Officer (Ex-Army Preferred)

Job Summary

We are looking to hire a highly disciplined and proactive Plant Safety & Discipline Officer (PSDO) to strengthen housekeeping, security, and safety culture at our manufacturing facility. Candidates with an Army / Defence background (JCO/NCO level) will be given top priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce discipline, safety, and housekeeping standards across the plant.
• Regular plant rounds to monitor cleanliness, PPE usage, and compliance.
• Supervise housekeeping teams, contract labour, and security personnel.
• Ensure fire safety: equipment checks, emergency drills, and readiness.
• Manage gate control, visitor management, and internal vehicle movement.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and basic training sessions.
• Investigate incidents, unsafe acts, behavioural issues, and escalate promptly.
• Maintain documentation, checklists, registers, and daily reporting.

Requirements

• Ex-Army background is mandatory (Retired JCO/NCO preferred).
• Strong command, discipline, and ability to manage workforce.
• Experience in safety, security, admin, or plant discipline roles (preferred).
• Physically fit, good communication skills, and proactive attitude.
• Ability to join immediately or within short notice.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
