Plant Operator (Fitter & Welder)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: For Fitter: Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical parts and machines. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Operate hand and power tools (grinders, drills, etc.). Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs. Ensure precision in fitting work and check tolerances. For Welder: Perform welding using Arc, MIG, TIG, or Gas welding techniques. Prepare and clean metal surfaces for welding and joining. Read welding diagrams and blueprints to execute tasks accurately. Inspect welds to ensure structural soundness and quality. Maintain welding equipment and safety gear.
