Job Description

Role & responsibilities Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Material Handler to support material movement and packaging operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely handling of raw materials and finished goods using hand-operated pallet trucks (HOPT) and other manual handling tools. This role also includes final packaging of finished products to ensure they are ready for dispatch. What Youll Do Handle incoming and outgoing materials within the plant. Transport raw materials, and finished goods between storage, production, and dispatch areas. Operate hand trolleys (HOPT) and other material handling equipment. Assist in loading and unloading of trucks and maintain accurate records of material movement. Ensure correct labeling, stacking, and storing of materials as per SOP. Support the packaging process by organizing and supplying materials as required. Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in material storage and movement areas. Report any damage or discrepancy in material promptly to the supervisor. Who You Are Prior experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred. Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy materials. Familiarity with manual handling tools like HOPT. Basic understanding of workplace safety and hygiene standards. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment. Ability to follow instructions and maintain proper documentation.
