Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Plant In-Charge to manage daily operations at our crusher equipment manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in production planning, equipment assembly, shop floor supervision, quality control, and team coordination. Knowledge of OEM practices, welding, machining, and fabrication is essential. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage daily plant operations related to crusher machine manufacturing and assembly. • Ensure on-time production and delivery schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards. • Oversee machining, welding, fitting, painting, and final assembly of crusher equipment (Jaw Crusher, Cone Crusher, VSI, Screens, etc.). • Coordinate with the design, procurement, and quality departments for smooth production flow. • Manage shop floor staff including supervisors, technicians, and workers. • Implement production plans as per customer orders, and optimize resource allocation. • Monitor plant machinery and ensure preventive maintenance is carried out. • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), ISO/quality norms, and safety regulations. • Maintain proper documentation of production records, material usage, and process compliance. • Identify areas for cost reduction, process improvement, and efficiency enhancement. • Handle third-party inspections, client visits, and dispatch coordination as needed. Key Skills & Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering. • Proven experience in handling crusher OEM production or heavy engineering plant operations. • Good knowledge of mechanical fabrication, assembly line management, and machine tools. • Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication layouts. • Strong team leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
