Reporting to General Manager - Operations

Prime responsibility will be handling of Complete operations of the plant ensuring Safety, Quality, Delivery and Plant Operational KPIs. He is also responsible to ensure all Plant Policies and Guidelines are being adhered.

Responsibilities:

• The person will be responsible for leading Complete plant Operations and ensuring all activities are align and towards Organisations Top and Bottom-line Improvement:
• Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant
• Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance
• Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times
• Ensure training and skill enhancement of staff and associates
• Ensure 100% involvement from Top to Bottom towards Operational Excellence
• Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order
• Repair or replace plant equipment
• To lead the Cost Optimisation model throughout the plant to improve bottom line
• Installation of new equipment to best in class manufacturing flow o Budgeting and ensuring operations in line to budget o Capacity planning o 100% Safe Working condition o Zero Customer Complaint
• COPQ
• Production Plan adherence (Plan vs Actual)
• New Product Development in line to Growth and APQP plans

Critical Skills:

• Leadership skills to manage multiple functions
• Decision making
• Strong technical judgment
• Strong knowledge on Problem solving (7 QC tools)
• Hands on MS Office / MS Project
• Sound knowledge of IATF / VDA 6.3
• Sound Review system with effective closure
• Having Knowledge of all joining processes like welding, Brazing
• Knowledge of all types of Steel and its behaviour
• Should be from Automotive industry
• Should be able to challenge self and team to deliver best in class performance

• DME (15-20 years) / BE Mechanical with 12-15 years experience
