As India's largest and only fully integrated plastic waste management company, Lucro manages waste from end to end - collecting, recycling, and manufacturing packaging products. The role of overseeing the entire plant operations of Lucro Plastecycle Private Limited is crucial in ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, compliance, and cost optimization. This position requires leading cross-functional teams, improving production processes, and driving operational excellence aligned with organizational goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day plant operations to meet production targets. - Ensure adherence to quality standards, cost controls, and timelines. - Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies. - Lead a large workforce, ensuring training, motivation, and productivity. - Drive continuous process improvement, efficiency, and waste reduction. - Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. - Maintain compliance with statutory, legal, and industry regulations. - Provide regular reports and updates to senior management. **Qualifications Required:** - Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering/Operations/Management. - 10-12 years of experience in plant operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and plant maintenance. - Familiarity with EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) compliance, ISO standards, and lean manufacturing. - Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage budgets, optimize resources, and achieve operational KPIs. If you have worked in or have an understanding of the waste management industry, can understand English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi, and possess a good temperament to face difficult situations both internally and externally, it will be an added advantage.
