Job Description

We are hiring a Plant Head for one of our esteemed clients in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of relevant experience in plant management and operational leadership. The Plant Head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of factory operations, ensuring production targets, and maintaining quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end plant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and on-time production. Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to meet delivery timelines and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate machine production and ensure operational efficiency. Manage and resolve after-sales service issues by coordinating with the service department. Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. Implement process improvements to enhance overall plant efficiency and reduce operational costs. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and compliance regulations. Monitor equipment performance, identify maintenance requirements, and schedule preventive maintenance. Develop and mentor the plant team to ensure high levels of employee engagement and performance. Generate regular reports on production performance, operational challenges, and suggested improvements. Required Qualifications: Educational Qualification: Engineering graduate (Mechanical, Electrical, or Production preferred). Management courses or certifications are an added advantage. Experience: 8-10 years of experience in plant operations, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Proven track record of managing factory operations and leading diverse teams. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems for production management. Ability to handle operational challenges and drive continuous improvement. Preferred Industry: Manufacturing Industry (Machinery/Equipment/Engineering preferred). Personality Traits: Proactive and results-driven approach. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
