Job Description

Job Responsibilities: 1. Responsible as Head of Dept. for Smooth Functioning of Production (Manufacturing & Packing), Engineering, Warehouse, EHS & Administration, Departments of the plant. 2. Responsible for establishing proper communication and integration among across functional teams PPIC, Production, QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse, Project team and the finance. 3. Responsible for reviewing and approving Departmental CAPEX Budgeting. 4. Support new product development with facility changes, staff and equipments to ensure smooth tech transfers, process improvements and validation programs. 5. Track key performance indicators/costs, anticipating, and correcting trends which would contribute to the achievement of financial targets. 6. Ensuring manufacturing process adhere to QMS and c GMP guidelines throughout the process. 7. Escalate emergency situations to the management and ensure all time plant operation readiness for audits and visits. 8. Ensuring optimum utilization of resource like men, material, machine, etc. 9. Monitoring operational cost savings through improvements, new technology, automation and inventory control. 10. Responsible for achieving internal and external targets and maintaining the highest customer satisfaction. 11. Review and approval of production plans monthly, and weekly. 12. Implementation of Good manufacturing practices in the plant. 13. Preparation, review and compliance with various regulatory audits. 14. Improvements in practices and systems in production block. 15. Responsible for providing technical advice for modernization in the plant. 16. Responsible for Engineering stores and purchase related to Engineering and Production. 17. Responsible for energy conservation & cost cutting in the plant. 18. Concentrate and improve batch yield, reduce wastages - direct and indirect controllable costs to meets overall cost index targets. 19. Responsible for handling disciplinary action by conducting enquiries as per disciplinary procedures. 20. Ensuring HR and company policies in the workplace to ensure effective implementation and adherence among every employee in the organization for smooth functioning. 21. Responsible for evaluating employees and their job performance for determining gaps. 22. Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for both management and front line hourly personnel. 23. Establish rewards and recognition for employees in support with HR for employees showing good attitude and demonstrating exemplary performance. 24. Oversees and assures facility equipment reliability to minimize down – time, effective PM and energy saving. 25. Ensure corrective action and customer complaints and initiate preventive action eliminate recurrence. 26. Responsible for establishing Health and Safety policy and procedures and inculcate the safety culture throughout the plant. 27. Ensure compliance with GXP requirements, Data Integrity and escalate the issues to the reporting authority.
