Planning Manager-Civil

Role Overview: You should have at least 8 years of experience in the construction industry, and candidates with a diploma are not eligible for this position. Post-graduation from NICMAR is preferred. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the project thoroughly and its associated challenges. - Manage the sequencing of activities and create schedules using MSP (Microsoft Project). - Perform resource leveling on the MSP schedule. - Stay informed about productivity rates for each trade. - Create project schedules at both macro and micro levels, including sub-schedules like the overall program, tender schedule, and individual work categories. - Monitor and track the master construction schedule agreed upon with contracting companies. - Develop and implement procedures for reviewing and processing requests for clarifications, interpretations of contract documents, shop drawings, samples, and other submittals. - Anticipate design requirements in advance and prepare a customized Design Development program. - Manage design coordination and documentation-related tasks. - Anticipate challenges several months in advance and propose solutions. - Analyze material and manpower data to project shortfalls. - Keep track of schedules and update stakeholders on material requirements. - Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes punctually. - Develop material and equipment schedules for long-lead items. - Prepare project-related reports and ensure timely distribution to project participants. Qualification Required: To apply for this role, you must have: - Minimum 5 years of experience in execution, planning, or coordination of greenfield construction projects. - Proficient skills in MS PowerPoint preparation and presentation.
