Job Description

Manages or performs work associated with the procurement and supply and logistics of manufacturing materials including: Materials Requirements Planning. Materials Procurement/Purchasing. Materials Inventory Planning Control. Materials Warehousing, Distribution Transportation A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

How you'll make an impact

Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
To lead a team of planners and buyers to fulfill the requirements of internal and external customers and ensure incoming quality of the material.
Liaisoning between internal and external stakeholders.
Leverage best-practices with scheduling materials planning to keep RM inventory within control and align business processes for maximum factory efficiency.
Development of suppliers for more cost effectiveness.
Commercial finalization of service contracts to execute internal projects on time.
Inventory performance analyses and control withing given target
Manage obsolete inventory withing target
Capacity Planning and masterscheduling of jobs
Co-ordinating SCM, Procurement, OH and Production to ensure that projects move as per contractual commitments of customer.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

A bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or Diploma Electrical/Mechanical engineering
Around 15 to 20 years relevant experience in project management / Order management
Excellent communications / analytical and problem-solving skill with ability to manage multiple tasks
SAP and MS Office knowledge is required.
Proficiency in both spoken written English language is required
