Role Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Placement Officer to manage and enhance our student placement program. The Placement Officer will build strong industry connections, organize campus recruitment drives, and support students in securing internships and full-time employment. This role requires strong coordination, communication, and student engagement skills. Key Responsibilities: Industry Relations: * Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners, recruiters, and industry professionals to secure internship and job opportunities. Placement Coordination: * Plan, schedule, and manage campus recruitment drives, career fairs, and industry interactions. Student Support: * Guide students on resume building, interview preparation, career choices, and overall employability skills. Database Management: * Maintain up-to-date records of student profiles, placement statistics, and company contacts using placement management software or spreadsheets. Reporting: * Prepare regular placement reports, performance metrics, and updates for internal stakeholders and accreditation bodies. Workshops & Training: * Coordinate with faculty and training partners to organize soft skills, aptitude, technical training, and mock interviews. Alumni Engagement: * Engage alumni for mentorship, guest lectures, and networking opportunities. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (preferably in HR, Business Administration, or related field). A Master's degree is a plus. * 1+ year of experience in campus placement, career services, or corporate HR (freshers with strong networking and communication skills may also apply). * Excellent interpersonal and networking skills. * Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and placement management tools. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in an academic institution * Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn, Intern Shala, or other job portals & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
