Job Overview. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Piping Checker Oil And Gas to join our team at Avis Enertech Pvt Limited. As a Piping Checker, you will be responsible for reviewing and checking piping designs, drawings, and specifications for oil and gas projects. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and is a full-time employment opportunity.

Qualifications And Skills. A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience as a Piping Checker in the oil and gas industry. Strong knowledge of piping design principles, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, API). Proficiency in using design software and tools such as AutoCAD, CADWorx, or PDMS. Familiarity with industry software for piping stress analysis and pipe support design. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in checking and reviewing piping designs. Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines. Roles And Responsibilities. Review and check piping designs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and adherence to industry standards. Ensure that piping designs comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve design issues and provide technical guidance. Perform thorough quality checks on piping systems, materials, and components. Identify and report any design errors, discrepancies, or deviations from project requirements. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify the installation and functioning of piping systems. Prepare detailed reports and documentation of review findings and recommendations. Stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and standards related to piping design.
