Pipeline ATD (Feat Animation)

As an Assistant Technical Director (ATD), you play a crucial role in supporting the Pipeline Technical Directors (Pipeline TDs) to ensure the seamless operation of tools, software, and workflows utilized in renowned VFX and Feature Animation projects. Your responsibilities involve collaborating closely with the Pipeline TDs to provide direct assistance to artists. Key Responsibilities: - Offer technical advice and assistance to artists - Monitor the render farm, disk usage, and file transfers between sites - Contribute to testing and provide feedback for software releases from the R&D team - Develop and create Python tools and scripts for the shows In addition to having a quick learning ability and a proactive approach towards technical tasks, effective communication skills are essential for success in this role. Your capability to convey issues accurately and succinctly between technical developers and non-technical artists will be invaluable. This position presents a valuable opportunity for you to enhance your technical skills in an entry-level capacity and gain hands-on experience in the Visual Effects industry.
