Responsibilities in Picking
Order selection: Retrieve items from shelves or storage based on customer orders.
Accuracy checks: Verify product codes, quantities, and conditions before packing.
Inventory updates: Record picked items to maintain stock accuracy.
Use of equipment: Operate scanners, carts, or forklifts to move goods.
Speed and efficiency: Meet daily targets while minimizing errors.
Responsibilities in Packing
Quality inspection: Ensure items are undamaged and meet order requirements.
Packaging preparation: Select appropriate boxes, wrapping, and protective material.
Labeling: Attach shipping labels, barcodes, and documentation correctly.
Sealing and securing: Pack items safely to prevent damage during transit.
Final checks: Confirm order completeness before dispatch.
