We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves educating students in the principles of physics, encouraging critical thinking, and inspiring a love for science. The Physics Teacher will also engage in mentoring and academic advising, helping students achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in physics.
• Teach various topics in physics, ensuring students understand key concepts and applications.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods, including hands-on experiments and technology integration.
• Provide individualized tutoring and support to students who may need additional assistance.
• Mentor students academically, guiding them through their educational journey and providing advice on future studies.
• Conduct research to stay current with advancements in the field of physics and incorporate relevant findings into the classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to school initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

Skills

• Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development specific to physics education.
• Strong mentoring abilities to guide students academically and personally.
• Knowledge of discrete math, molecular biology, cell biology, and related scientific disciplines is beneficial.
• Experience with Montessori teaching methods is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to conduct research relevant to physics education and integrate findings into teaching practices.
• Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
