Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive physics curriculum that aligns with educational standards. Create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and promote critical thinking. Conduct classroom instruction using various teaching methods, including hands-on experiments and collaborative projects. Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Facilitate academic advising sessions to guide students in their educational pathways. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities. Stay current with advancements in physics education and incorporate relevant research into lesson planning. Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning. Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods is a plus. Knowledge of genetics, discrete math, algebra, cell biology, and related subjects is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
