Physician Assistant

Meditrina Hospital, Kollam is looking for dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our medical team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical/ hospital setting and should be passionate about providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients across OPD, IPD, and other clinical areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist consultants and physicians in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Conduct initial patient assessments, take detailed medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
• Provide support in patient admissions, daily rounds, monitoring, and discharge processes.
• Assist in emergency situations and perform basic clinical procedures as required.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient care delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Physician Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to assist in both OPD and IPD care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to handle patients with empathy, care, and professionalism.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts if required.
