Physical Education Teacher (PGT)

As a Physical Education Teacher, your role involves designing and implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and teaching a variety of sports, fitness activities, and exercises to enhance students" motor skills and physical health. You will also educate students on nutrition, personal health, injury prevention, and sports rules. Your key responsibilities will include training students for various competitions and events, identifying and nurturing talented athletes, and organizing sports camps, fitness programs, and extracurricular activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of students during physical activities, teaching first aid and injury management, and maintaining sports equipment and facilities. In terms of student assessment and development, you will assess students" physical fitness levels, provide individualized guidance to improve their skills, and encourage participation in physical activities for overall well-being. You will also be involved in administrative tasks such as organizing sports meets, maintaining records of students" attendance and achievements, and coordinating with school authorities for budgeting and procurement of sports equipment. Qualifications Required: - Masters degree (M.P.Ed.) in Physical Education (preferred) or a Bachelors degree (B.P.Ed.) with relevant experience - Teaching certification as per educational board requirements (CBSE, ICSE, or state boards) Skills Required: - Expertise in various sports and physical training activities - Strong communication and leadership skills - Ability to motivate and engage students in physical fitness - Knowledge of sports science, health education, and injury prevention In terms of the work environment, you will be working in schools, colleges, sports academies, or fitness institutions, engaging in both outdoor and indoor physical training activities. There may be a requirement to travel for sports competitions and training camps. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position that requires in-person work.,
