Job Summary:

The PGT Physical Education teacher is responsible for planning and delivering physical education lessons to senior secondary classes (Grades 9–12), promoting physical fitness, instilling the values of teamwork and sportsmanship, and encouraging students to participate in sports and fitness activities. The role also involves preparing students for competitive sports and inter-school tournaments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Physical Education curriculum in line with CBSE/State Board/National Curriculum guidelines.
• Deliver engaging and structured lessons that promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and understanding of human physiology.
• Evaluate student performance through practical assessments, theory exams (where applicable), and continuous observation.
• Organize and supervise sports events, tournaments, and inter-school competitions.
• Coach students in various sports like athletics, football, volleyball, basketball, cricket, badminton, etc.

• Ability to motivate and engage senior secondary students
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• First aid knowledge and safety awareness in sports activities

Educational Qualifications:

• Essential: Master’s Degree (M.P.Ed.) in Physical Education from a recognized university
• Desirable: B.Ed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
