Job Description:

Stanford Public School is seeking a dynamic and passionate Sports Teacher to promote physical education, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles among students. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, and lead physical activity programs and sports coaching for primary and middle school classes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular P.E. classes for students from Grades 1 to 6
• Organize indoor and outdoor games and physical fitness sessions
• Train students for inter-school and intra-school sports competitions
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive attitude through sports
• Ensure safety of students during all physical activities
• Maintain sports equipment and playground discipline
• Collaborate with teachers for event planning (e.g., Sports Day, Annual Function)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent
• Prior experience as a Sports Teacher/Coach in a school setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of various sports, games, and fitness training
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for student development and holistic education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in First Aid or Child Safety
• Participation or training in district/state-level sports

Salary: As per school norms and experience
