Physical Education Teacher – Job Description

Location: Samastipur, Bihar
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month

Experience: 1–2 years
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed. or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

• Sports and Physical Training
• Conduct physical education classes and training sessions for students.
• Teach basic skills and rules of various indoor and outdoor sports.
• Organize drills, warm-up exercises, and fitness activities.
• Encourage participation in daily physical activities for health and fitness.
• Event and Competition Management
• Organize inter-house, inter-school, and annual sports events.
• Train and guide school teams for district, state, or national-level competitions.
• Maintain sports equipment and ensure safety during activities.
• Student Development and Discipline
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.
• Identify talented athletes and help them enhance their skills.
• Monitor students’ physical growth, performance, and participation.
• Administrative and Supportive Roles
• Maintain attendance, performance records, and reports for physical activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff for overall student well-being.
• Assist in school events and activities requiring physical coordination.

• Strong knowledge of sports, games, and fitness training techniques.
• Good communication and motivational skills.
• Ability to manage groups and maintain discipline.
• First aid knowledge and safety awareness.
