Physical Design Engineer (Lead/Staff)

Role Overview: You will be joining Qualcomm India Private Limited's Hardware Engineering division as a Hardware Engineer, where you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and testing electronic systems to contribute to the development of cutting-edge products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will work towards creating solutions that drive digital transformation in the smart, connected future. Key Responsibilities: - Manage complex subsystems and small teams - Utilize expertise in RTL2GDS, including Floorplan, place and route (PnR), and sign-off convergence - Meet demanding Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) requirements for complex subsystems and System on Chips (SoCs) - Implement low power design and work on multiple technology nodes in advanced processes - Ensure power gating and drive improvements in PPA through automation - Lead a small team for project execution and achieving PPA targets Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree from a prestigious institute - 6 to 10 years of experience in physical design within product-based companies Please note that Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
