Description
As a WordPress developer for our client, you will be responsible for developing new web pages and shared components on both new and existing sites. Your role will involve utilizing Gutenberg effectively, developing plugins for WordPress, and having familiarity with ACF/Carbon Fields. It is essential that you have proficiency in theme development and editing within WordPress, along with an understanding of Agile principles. To excel in this position, you should have experience with Gutenberg Blocks, writing plugins for WordPress, and working with ACF/Carbon Fields. Additionally, you must be proficient in PHP, MySQL, and OOP, as well as have knowledge of HTML, CSS (SASS), and JavaScript. Experience with Responsive Design using frameworks like Bootstrap 3/4 and 960 Grid is crucial, along with familiarity with version control systems like Git and a good understanding of Agile principles. Good spoken English is also required for effective communication within the team. It would be advantageous if you have experience with TypeScript, npm, Composer, and React, as well as with Docker and Bash. Providing examples of your code, sharing your portfolio, or demonstrating pet projects will be considered a plus.
