We are looking for a highly skilled WordPress Developer with strong expertise in PHP, custom theme creation, plugin development, and deep knowledge of WordPress hooks. You will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable, and fully customized WordPress websites tailored to client or project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch based on design mockups or specifications.
Build and maintain custom plugins to extend WordPress functionality.
Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable PHP code following WordPress coding standards.
Utilize WordPress action and filter hooks to modify core behavior safely and efficiently.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services as needed.
Ensure compatibility across major browsers and devices (responsive and cross-browser development).
Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and accessibility.
Troubleshoot, debug, and fix front-end and back-end issues.
Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of PHP and WordPress core architecture.
Proven experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Deep understanding of WordPress hooks (actions & filters).
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery/AJAX).
Experience working with ACF, Custom Post Types (CPTs), and WordPress APIs.
Familiarity with version control (Git).
Understanding of best practices in WordPress security, optimization, and code performance.
Nice to Have:
Experience with WooCommerce, REST API, or multisite setups.
Knowledge of Gutenberg block development.
Familiarity with tools like Composer, Webpack, or npm.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of professional WordPress development experience, particularly with custom themes and plugins.

Pay: ₹10,262.92 - ₹44,842.45 per month
