Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled PHP / WordPress Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of core PHP, MySQL, and WordPress architecture, with the ability to create custom plugins, themes, and backend functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and plugins.

● Write clean, efficient, and reusable PHP code for backend processes.

● Work with APIs and integrate third-party services.

● Optimize website performance, database queries, and load speed.

● Manage website security, backups, and version control (Git).

● Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

● Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.

Required Skills:

● Strong proficiency in Core PHP, MySQL, and OOPs concepts.

● Hands-on experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, hooks, filters).

● Familiarity with REST APIs, AJAX, jQuery, and JavaScript.

● Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

● Experience with version control tools (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).

● Knowledge of security, caching, and performance optimization.

Good to Have:

● Knowledge of Laravel / CodeIgniter or other PHP frameworks.

● Understanding of SEO best practices for WordPress.

● Experience with cPanel, hosting environments, or cloud servers.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

1–3 years of relevant work experience in PHP / WordPress backend development.

Pay: ₹12,473.11 - ₹25,000.82 per month
