Skills Experience: The essential skills that a PHP Developer or a PHP expert developer requires are given below: Demonstrable expertise with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with good understanding of DOM. Hands on experience in Magento.Shopify, WordPress and other CMSs Good verbal and written communication. Responsibilities and Duties There are a variety of roles and responsibilities for a PHP Developer or a PHP expert developer to troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure robust optimization and functionality. Things to keep in mind include the following: Experience with Shopify s theming system and Liquid templating, AJAX API, and Meta fields Experience with implementing/debugging 3rd party Shopify apps as well as creating custom solutions. Thorough understanding and experience with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery Thorough testing and debugging skills with browser console and external tools. Experience developing for responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
