PHP Developer

As a PHP Developer at the company, your main responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining robust, scalable web applications using the Laravel framework. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. - Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs. - Helping maintain code quality, organization, and automation. - Writing clean, secure, and efficient code while following best practices. - Building and maintaining APIs and third-party integrations. - Troubleshooting and debugging application issues in development and production environments. - Managing and optimizing MySQL databases and queries. - Participating in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and agile ceremonies. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong experience in developing web applications using Laravel (v8 or higher). - Solid understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles. - Experience working with MySQL, including database design and query optimization. - Hands-on knowledge of Eloquent ORM, migrations, seeders, and factories. - Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend libraries (like Bootstrap). - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and API security best practices. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Understanding of application hosting, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines. - Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects. Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role include knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools for containerization, familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud service providers, understanding of SEO-friendly website development, exposure to AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to assist in coding, debugging, documentation, or productivity, and exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
