Job Description

PHP Developer

Role & responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications
Write clean, secure, and efficient code following best practices
Integrate data storage solutions such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Develop and consume RESTful APIs
Ensure code quality through reviews and documentation
Stay updated with emerging PHP trends and technologies

Preferred candidate profile

Strong proficiency in
PHP (7.x / 8.x)
with hands-on experience in web application development
Experience working with PHP frameworks such as
Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony
Good understanding of
MVC architecture
and
object-oriented programming (OOP)
principles
Proficient in working with
MySQL / PostgreSQL
databases and writing optimized queries
Familiarity with
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
, and front-end integration
Experience with
RESTful APIs
and third-party integrations
Understanding of
web security best practices
and performance optimization
