About the Role

Job responsibilities

Analyse new requirements and provide impact analysis Write clean, well-designed, reusable code and efficient unit tests
Review and maintain code to ensure high performance
Follow SOLID principles while building applications
Troubleshoot, test, and upgrade software and databases
Integrate new and existing apps with third-party web-based systems
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software solutions

Minimum requirements

Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Experience working with the LAMP tech stack: Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Perl/Python (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Proven experience in PHP Development
Experience working with web APIs (REST, SOAP, or XML)
Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, web standards, and browser compatibility
Fluency in English for effective communication
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

Proficient with MVC architectural pattern
Knowledge of object-oriented scripting and DBMS concepts
Working knowledge of Perl and Python programming languages
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
