Position: Senior PHP Developer (Laravel) Location: Onsite – Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, India Experience: Minimum 3 Years Salary: As per industry standards Relocation Assistance: Available About the Role We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer with hands-on experience in Laravel , RESTful APIs, and frontend integration using HTML, Tailwind CSS . The candidate must be ready to relocate to Virudhunagar and possess excellent communication skills, with proven experience working directly with foreign clients. This is a full-stack backend role focused on building reliable, secure, and high-performing systems within a disciplined development workflow. Key Responsibilities Design and develop backend applications using Laravel , with clean architecture principles Build and integrate RESTful APIs with frontend systems Implement secure coding practices aligned with OWASP guidelines Optimize backend performance, query handling, and API response times Manage environment setup using Docker , handle database migrations, and configure deployment pipelines Review code, conduct peer reviews, and maintain Git version control with clean PR standards Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless UI/API integration using HTML/Tailwind CSS Provide release support, migration scripts, and deployment documentation Monitor production systems, debug issues, and deliver RCA-driven hotfixes Engage in direct client communication, understanding requirements, giving demos, and reporting progress Must-Have Skills PHP 8.x, Laravel 10.x or later – Strong backend architecture and coding practices REST API design, Authentication, and Authorization mechanisms Experience with MySQL , query optimization, and ORM (Eloquent) Frontend integration with HTML, CSS (Tailwind) Git workflows (feature branching, PR reviews, squash commits) Knowledge of Docker , environment management, and CI/CD concepts Clear understanding of security best practices and performance monitoring tools Good understanding of clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns Preferred Skills Experience with foreign clients in project delivery, status reporting, and requirement gathering Familiarity with cloud environments (DigitalOcean, AWS) Exposure to DevOps practices or collaborating with DevOps teams Experience in code reviews, mentoring, or leading small teams Soft Skills Strong communication and client handling Self-driven with a problem-solving mindset Willing to relocate and adapt to a small-town yet high-performing work environment Professional demeanor with accountability for delivery and quality What We Offer Opportunity to work on international projects with global clients A structured growth path with challenging backend engineering work Relocation support and a friendly, collaborative work culture in Virudhunagar Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year Benefits: Flexible schedule Paid sick time Paid time off Work from home Ability to commute/relocate: Madurai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): How Will You Rate Your English Proficiency Tell Me About One The Most Complicated Project's you have Worked Using Laravel ?
