Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain complex web applications using PHP, Laravel, and Symfony frameworks.
• Write clean, secure, testable, and reusable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Design and implement robust RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end components and third-party services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define, design, and ship new features.
• Manage and optimize databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), including performance tuning and database schema design.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in PHP and web development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a PHP Developer, with at least

  4+ years of experience

  using modern PHP frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in core PHP programming, object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, and MVC design patterns.
• In-depth, hands-on experience with

  Laravel

  and

  Symfony

  .
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and query optimization techniques.
• Proficiency with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically

  Git

  .
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
