PHP developer

As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the technical aspects of websites and web applications. This involves utilizing programming languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to construct both the front-end (user interface) and back-end (server-side logic). You will collaborate with designers, utilizing design tools to transform mockups and wireframes into functional web pages that align with visual and user experience (UX) design. Your focus will be on ensuring responsive and interactive user interfaces, optimizing for various devices and screen sizes on the client-side of applications. Additionally, you will handle server-side logic and databases to manage data storage, retrieval, and manipulation, potentially working with technologies like Node.js, Python, and PHP. Your responsibilities will also include creating and maintaining databases efficiently and securely, identifying and fixing technical issues through testing and debugging to ensure smooth functionality across different browsers and devices. Furthermore, you will be tasked with improving website/application performance, load times, and overall user experience, as well as utilizing version control systems like Git to manage code and collaborate with other developers. Implementing security measures to safeguard websites and applications from potential threats, working closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to meet project requirements and deadlines, and continuously learning about the latest web technologies will be essential aspects of your role. Desired Candidate Profile: - Engineering graduate (BE/B.Tech) or BCA/MCA from a reputed university. - Ability to develop and manage e-commerce websites and web applications. - Good understanding of PHP Scripting language fundamentals and concepts. - Familiarity with Smarty language. - Hands-on experience in front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, and CSS3. - Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and databases. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. - Availability for alternate Saturday and fixed off on all Sundays.
