PHP Developer

As a PHP Developer at Globle Hour Marine, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing dynamic web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter (v3 & v4). You will manage code versioning and deployment using Git/GitHub, handle project deployment on live servers (AWS / cPanel), integrate and manage RESTful APIs, work with MySQL databases, and troubleshoot application and server-related issues. Collaboration with the design and development team is essential for seamless project delivery. Ensuring clean, well-documented, and reusable code is also a key part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and optimize dynamic web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter (v3 & v4). - Manage code versioning and deployment using Git/GitHub. - Handle project deployment on live servers (AWS / cPanel). - Integrate and manage RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications. - Work with MySQL databases and optimize performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve application and server-related issues. - Collaborate with the design and development team for seamless project delivery. - Ensure clean, well-documented, and reusable code. Required Skills: - Proficient in PHP, CodeIgniter v3 & v4, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. - Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration. - Strong knowledge of deployment processes and server management. - Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) and hosting environments. - Good understanding of API creation and integration. - Knowledge of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
