PHP Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom PHP-based web applications and backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code using best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure smooth integration with third-party services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design for web applications.
• Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) to design and manage efficient database schemas.
• Follow Agile development processes and work closely with team members to meet project deadlines.

What We re Looking For

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• Solid understanding of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases, including experience with writing complex queries and optimizing performance.
• Familiarity with web services, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of best practices in code quality, security, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).
• Basic knowledge of DevOps processes or CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of SEO best practices for PHP-based websites.
