PHP application into a Node.js backend with React frontend and microservices architecture. You will collaborate with senior engineers and architects to design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and performant systems.
Contribute to migrating features from a legacy PHP application to Node.js microservices.Develop user interfaces using React.js following best practices and modern standards.Build, test, and deploy scalable RESTful / GraphQL APIs.Work with databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB) ensuring smooth migration of data models.Collaborate with DevOps teams to containerize services using Docker and deploy on cloud platforms.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with proper documentation.Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups in an Agile environment.
Experience in PHP (to understand and migrate legacy code).Exposure to containerization & deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Redis).Basic understanding of security best practices (JWT, OAuth, HTTPS, data validation).Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or ChatGPT to improve productivity and code quality.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.Good communication skills (verbal and written)
