Photographer and Editor

As a talented and creative photographer with strong skills in photo editing, your role will involve capturing and enhancing high-quality images. Your keen eye for detail, technical expertise in photography, and proficiency in photo editing software will ensure that the final images are polished and professional. Your responsibilities will include proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, with knowledge of Illustrator and Lightroom being a plus. You should have a strong understanding of color correction, retouching, and image manipulation, along with the ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects. Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills are essential, and experience in industry-specific editing, such as fashion, product, or real estate, is advantageous. Collaborating with clients or team members to understand their vision and aligning the photos with their expectations will be part of your creative direction responsibilities. You will also need to organize and store photo files for easy access, as well as prepare final images in various formats for delivery to clients or use across different platforms. The required skills for this role include a solid knowledge of photography techniques and equipment, expertise in editing software like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar tools, and the ability to work with different lighting setups. Your attention to detail in editing and retouching photos, understanding of color correction, cropping, and composition, and creative approach to photography are crucial. Good communication and collaboration skills are also essential for this position. Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience in a specific photography niche, experience in portrait, event, product, commercial photography, or related fields, and a strong portfolio showcasing previous editing work. Knowledge of video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift, fixed shift, and weekend availability required.
