Photo Editor for a Jewelry company- Editing and retouching photos

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Jewelry Photo Editor to edit and retouch raw product images for listing. You will receive high resolution RAW images directly from our photographer and will be responsible for editing them to meet brand standards — ensuring each piece of jewelry is represented with consistent product accuracy, clarity, and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

⁠ ⁠Edit and retouch RAW images of fine jewelry for web use (e.g. adjust lighting, color balance, color correct, remove distractions while preserving realistic texture and color accuracy)

⁠ ⁠Apply consistent cropping and formatting based on platform requirements

⁠ ⁠Apply white backgrounds to product images.

⁠ ⁠Photo compositing to ensure all of product is in focus.

⁠ ⁠Ensure all images adhere to brand guidelines in terms of color accuracy, consistency, and overall presentation

⁠ ⁠Maintain organized and consistent file naming conventions and folder structures

⁠ ⁠Meet deadlines and manage batches of images as needed.

Requirements:

⁠ ⁠Experience in photo editing. Experience with product retouching preferred.

⁠ ⁠Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Lightroom

⁠ ⁠Strong eye for detail, composition, and color accuracy

⁠ ⁠Understanding of how gold, gemstones, diamonds, etc should appear

⁠ ⁠Reliable communication and timely file delivery (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST or at least overlap half of this time frame, M-F)

Preferred Qualifications:

⁠ ⁠Portfolio demonstrating product photo editing work.

⁠ ⁠Familiarity with color management for digital use.

⁠ ⁠Experience with photo compositing.

⁠ ⁠Experience with Adobe Bridge

⁠ ⁠Experience working remotely and managing file handoffs via cloud storage (Google Drive or Dropbox).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
