As a Photo Editor, your primary responsibility will be to edit and retouch a high volume of images to meet the specified style and quality standards. This will include performing tasks such as color correction, exposure adjustments, skin retouching, background cleanup, and enhancements. You will collaborate closely with photographers to comprehend the creative direction and client expectations. Additionally, you will be accountable for organizing and maintaining photo libraries and backups, ensuring the timely delivery of edited images for both clients and internal projects. It is essential to stay abreast of the latest editing trends and tools in the photography industry to enhance your skills and deliver top-notch results. To excel in this role, proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom is a prerequisite. A robust portfolio that demonstrates your editing skills, particularly in weddings, portraits, or events, is highly desirable. Attention to detail, a discerning eye for color and composition, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines are crucial.
