Phlebotomist/Health Care Assistant

As a Phlebotomist, your primary responsibility will be to draw blood from patients using venipuncture or other methods in order to ensure accurate sample collection. In addition to this, you will be required to explain procedures to patients, answer any questions they may have, and assist in managing any anxiety or concerns that they may have regarding the process. You will also be responsible for labeling and preparing samples for testing, ensuring their proper storage and transport to the laboratory. It will be essential for you to accurately record patient information and sample details in databases and reports. Additionally, you will need to clean, maintain, and dispose of medical equipment and instruments as needed. Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols, infection control measures, and quality control procedures will be crucial in your role. You may also be tasked with managing supplies and inventory related to phlebotomy procedures. This position is open to freshers, preferably aged between 22 to 35.
