PhD-qualified Consultant (Artificial Intelligence)

As a PhD-qualified Consultant at our AI Research & Consulting Lab in Bangalore, your role will involve leading enterprise advisory on agentic AI-driven workflow transformation. Your expertise will be crucial in reshaping the structure of work by embedding agentic AI models into clients" business workflows. You will be instrumental in identifying roles that can be augmented or replaced by intelligent agents, functions suitable for agentic systems to execute decisions autonomously, and developing redeployment paths and upskilling programs for affected employees to align AI with sustainable workforce strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Assess existing workflows, org charts, and decision processes to determine where agentic AI can optimize roles. - Deliver diagnostic frameworks to map tasks to agent capabilities such as perception (NLP/vision), planning (ReAct, AutoGPT), and memory. - Architect transformation strategies to integrate autonomous AI agents into various business functions like customer support, HR, finance ops, and sales intelligence. - Recommend organizational redesigns to accommodate the agent/human hybrid workforce of the future. - Advise HR and L&D leaders on repositioning redundant roles through skill gap analysis and AI-aligned upskilling paths. - Define AI-readiness profiles and role evolution matrices for enterprise job families. - Publish insights and contribute to the firm's perspective on agentic systems in enterprise transformation. Required Qualifications: - PhD in Artificial Intelligence / Organizational AI / Multi-Agent Systems with a thesis focused on agentic AI systems, application of Generative AI to workforce redesign, and a reputed alma mater like IISc Bangalore, IITs, or ISB. - Strong foundation in LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, LLaMA), autonomous agents (AutoGPT, BabyAGI, LangGraph), agent frameworks (ReAct, memory-enabled agents, tool-using agents), and enterprise AI applications (RAG systems, intelligent copilots, virtual agents). - Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills. Preferred Skills: - Prior consulting experience in enterprise AI or transformation. - Experience in designing or deploying AI agents in real-world applications. - Knowledge of enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Snowflake) and their AI integration potential.,
