Job Description

Job Summary:

Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret physician prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
Advise patients on the proper use, dosage, and potential side effects of medications.
Monitor patient drug therapies for interactions, allergies, or contraindications.
Maintain records of dispensed medications and patient interactions as per regulatory requirements.
Ensure medications are stored properly and inventory is up-to-date.
Order and restock pharmaceutical supplies and ensure proper labeling and packaging.
Comply with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the pharmacy.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
Valid Pharmacist license/registration with [local Pharmacy Council or regulatory authority].
Strong knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and pharmaceutical calculations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software.
