Location: Miracle Women & Children’s Hospital
Experience Required: 1–3 years (Healthcare/Hospital Pharmacy)

Job Summary

The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications as per prescriptions, ensuring accurate dosage, maintaining inventory, and providing proper counseling to patients. The role requires strong knowledge of medicines, excellent communication, and previous experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy.

Key ResponsibilitiesMedication Dispensing

• Accurately dispense medications based on prescriptions.
• Check for correct dosage, drug interactions, and expiration dates.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and instructions on dispensed medicines.

Patient Counseling & Communication

• Provide clear guidance to patients on medication usage, dosage, and precautions.
• Counsel patients on drug interactions and side effects when necessary.
• Address patient queries politely and professionally.

Inventory & Stock Management

• Monitor and maintain stock levels of medicines and supplies.
• Track expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired/near-expiry items.
• Coordinate with vendors for medicine procurement.

Prescription Validation

• Verify prescription authenticity and completeness.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to clarify or correct prescription details.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and pharmacy standards.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain daily billing, pharmacy records, and inventory logs.
• Assist in preparing purchase orders and stock reports.
• Manage pharmacy cleanliness and ensure a safe working environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Pharm / M.Pharm (valid pharmacy license).
• 1–3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of drugs, dosages, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.
• Familiarity with pharmacy billing software and inventory systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Working Hours

• Full-time (Shift-based)
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,086.00 - ₹37,652.23 per month
