Job Description

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for checking prescriptions of the patients and dispensing medications. You will also be required to check the expiry dates of medications before dispensing them and conduct stocktaking to identify near expiry medications, which must be returned to the vendor. Maintaining accurate records of drug inventory, purchases, sales, stock checking, and replenishment will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will be in charge of managing the cash register and addressing patient queries related to medications. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory laws governing the pharmacy industry is essential. Building strong relationships with customers and providing excellent customer service will be key aspects of your role. It is crucial to avoid any medication errors while dispensing medications to guarantee patient safety. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as paid sick time and paid time off. The work schedule may include day shifts, evening shifts, morning shifts, rotational shifts, and weekend availability. The work location is in person, requiring your presence at the pharmacy.,
