PGT Political Science

SFS School, Narengi is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable educator to serve as TGT Political Science. The role requires a subject expert with a solid grounding in political theory, governance, and civic understanding, capable of engaging students in meaningful discussions and developing their analytical and democratic thinking. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, a student-centered approach, and the ability to integrate innovative pedagogy aligned with the school’s academic goals.

Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Political Science with B.Ed.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Proficient in using digital tools and technology for teaching and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver well-structured Political Science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
• Design lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments tailored to diverse student needs.
• Promote classroom engagement through debates, discussions, and project-based learning.
• Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and other formative assessments.
• Ensure comprehensive syllabus coverage and prepare students for internal and board assessments.
• Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to report card preparation.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues for cross-curricular projects and curriculum enhancement.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents regarding academic progress.
• Uphold school policies, discipline standards, and academic integrity.
