Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled PGT Mathematics Teacher to teach Grades 11 and 12 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess strong conceptual clarity, effective teaching methodologies, and the ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for senior secondary students preparing for board and competitive examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured and engaging lessons in Mathematics as per the CBSE curriculum for Grades 11 and 12.
• Teach core topics across Algebra, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Vectors, Probability, and other senior secondary concepts.
• Prepare students thoroughly for CBSE board exams and competitive exams such as JEE/NEET (as per school policy).
• Develop and evaluate class tests, assignments, and practice worksheets to monitor student progress.
• Guide students in problem-solving techniques and mathematical reasoning.
• Use technology, visual tools, and real-life examples to enhance conceptual understanding.
• Maintain detailed lesson plans, student performance data, and assessment records.
• Collaborate with other faculty members for interdisciplinary academic initiatives.
• Actively participate in school events, math clubs, olympiad preparation, and co-curricular activities.

Qualifications and SkillsEducation

• Master’s Degree in Mathematics with B.Ed (mandatory).

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Grades 11–12 at a CBSE or equivalent institution.

Skills

• Strong command over subject matter and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to teach abstract mathematical concepts using clear and engaging methods.
• Proficiency in developing practice material and solving higher-order problems.
• Understanding of CBSE assessment patterns, board exam preparation strategies, and competency-based learning.
• Comfortable using digital tools, smart boards, and online assessment platforms.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to reside on campus and contribute to the residential school environment.
• Ability to mentor students beyond classroom hours, including doubt-clearing and supervised study.
• Participation in academic planning, student guidance, and community-building activities.
